Attendalytics: Compare Event Ticket Sales

To learn the pattern of a successful event it would help if we were able to compare one event to another event.

In order to do this we must compare using the number of days before each event.

To get to the chart, go to Attendalytics > Event Comparison on the Tool Bar.

When you first see this chart it might look like the one below.

In order to see more detail and have it mean something, you may need to zoom in my highlighting the the start and stop number of days you wish to zoom in on.

To do this, place your cursor/mouse point and hold and drag to highlight the days. Let's say you want to see results from 70 days before the event to 60 days before the event.

This will cause the chart to reappear like the one below. Now you can clearly see that 2014 is doing much better than 2012.

Lets look at what the numbers mean above.

  1. This is the number of tickets sold on this day.  In the chart above on at 64 days before the event we sold 65 tickets.
  2. The 424 is the number of tickets that has been sold since tickets went on sale
  3. To rest the chart back to it's original size (no zoom) click Reset Zoom
  4. Across the bottom of the chart you see the number of days before the event.  In the example above 60 indicates this is 60 days prior to the start of the event.
