The first item we share is that some of your ticket buyers will have problems buying a ticket online no matter who is handling your online sales.
The reason for this varies from computer experience, no matter what the age of the buyer is. We have noticed as you would expect that the older your attendee demographic is, the more issues you and we will have.
In addition to age demographics, in this age of smart phones, tablets, laptops and desktops, issues will arise. Every software company struggles to keep up with operating systems, browsers and devices that are constantly changing. It's just a fact of life!
Making this issue worse is that even though 99% of ticket buyers do not have any issue buying online, nearly ALL of the 1% cannot seem to determine what the problem is. Most of the time, the buyer does not really know why they are having issues.
Of the 1% that have an issue, we hear "it did not accept my credit card," "I can not download my ticket," and many other things only to find out it's an internet issue at the ticket buyer's location. Sometimes we hear "I can't print my ticket," when the printer is out of ink or not plugged in.
The bottom line is that people are human. These issues will be sorted out with your awesome customer service and/or ours!
